Dr, Sidel had dual appointments in Family and Social Medicine and Epidemiology and Population Health. In addition, he was on the Editorial of Social Medicine. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Ruth.This interview was published in October of 2013 as part of a Festschrift devoted to Vic’s life and work. It explores several aspects of his long career, concentrating on activism and social justice issues. This transcript is based on two interviews.
