Acoso laboral o mobbing y fibromialgia / Workplace harrassment, bullying, mobbing and fibromyalgia
Resumen
El acoso laboral o mobbing produce traumatismo emocional debido a los grados de sufrimiento que provoca en los sujetos que lo han padecido por determinado tiempo. Las consecuencias en la salud se reflejan en síntomas como dolor muculoesquelético generalizado, acompañado de fatiga e insomnio. Esta investigación comprendió 55 entrevistas en profundidad, orientadas a la reconstrucción de las trayectorias laborales, tanto en mujeres como en hombres que padecían fibromialgia. Los hallazgos nos muestran la relación entre el mobbing y la fibromialgia, enfermedad caracterizada por dolor permanente por más de tres meses y fatiga que no desaparece con el descanso. Abstract Mobbing, or workplace harassment, causes emotional trauma due to the degree of suffering that it provokes in those who experience it for a given period of time. The health consequences are reflected in the symptoms, such as generalized musculoskeletal pain, along with fatigue and insomnia. This study was composed of 55 in depth interviews, geared towards understanding the workplace trajectories of men and women who suffered from fibromyalgia. The findings demonstrate the relationship between mobbing and fibromyalgia, an illness characterized by permanent pain lasting longer than three months and fatigue that does not resolve with rest.
